It's a wrap - Xerocon Atlanta 2018
Estimated reading time: 3 minutes.
We are back from another fabulous Xerocon. A complete contrast to the snow Ashley, Paul and Rachel had in Austin, Texas. Atlanta put on a fine show for us weather wise and in many other aspects as well. We sampled the many delights of southern cuisine, managed to spend some time outside the conference visiting the cities many attractions such as the CNN building, the Center For Civil and Human Rights and of course we could not pass up the opportunity to visit the World of Coca-Cola. More importantly however, Xerocon was great opportunity to meet up with our A2X partners and to meet many new bookkeepers and accountants from around the US.
A2X Partner Accounting Firms
I was delighted to meet in person the partner firms that I have been working with over the last year such as Bookkeeper360, Acuity, HPC, The Digital CPA, Bean Counter 4 Hire, Accountingprose and AdvisorFi. It was a great time to meet and talk about future product roadmap plans, marketing initiatives with current and future partners and also share ideas as to how we can better collaborate as partners. We’re lucky to have such motivated and innovative partners to work with. Thank you A2X accounting partners for being so open and supportive of what the team at A2X are all about;
The gold standard in Amazon accounting
A2X Swag
We were pretty excited when Greg Kyte pulled A2X swag from his Xerocon bag (drink bottle & mints) in front of big crowd and gave both items a big big thumbs up. Did anyone notice the special ‘mint’ inside their box?….. Check out Greg and the A2X Drink Bottle HERE.
A2X Meetup at Braves Bar and Grill
On the 2nd day of the conference we hosted our Amazon accounting meetup just across the street at Braves Sports Bar. We had 46 people attend and two fabulous speakers: Brandon Wasser, Senior Client Advisor at Bookkeeper360 and Cat Fogarty, Director of accounting technology at HPC.
Brandon spoke of the key trends that he is seeing in the e-commerce space and Cat spoke about how to get accurate financials and what to do once you have accurate financials. Check out what they said on the live stream HERE.
Party at the Foundry
An amazing “SteamPunk” themed party was held at the Foundry in Atlanta where some very creative food was served - chemical concoctions and donuts cooked in whisky and fire to name but a few. We were greeted by a wall of human hands holding blue champagne in honor of the Xerocon event.
What a great time and a great place to meet our partners and other firms interested in Amazon accounting. Thank you for stopping by and saying hello. We hope to see you at the next Xerocon.
